Overview
James Thorpe & Son had 107 years of experience on the tools, but a brand that didn't quite show it. In 2019, working freelance, I helped this family joinery firm, which specialises in the restoration of heritage buildings, refresh their identity as they looked to grow. I designed a new logo and brand identity that felt professional and modern while still respecting their roots, then carried it across corporate stationery, signage and van livery, before setting up their social media and designing and building their website. Six years on, the business has grown substantially and expanded into new sectors, and they're back in touch to take the website and social media further.
